Cupuaçu is native to the Amazon forest. Its
pulp is used to
prepare juices, candies and ice cream. It
is customary to offer
the juice to visitors and tourists in the
North region, so that
they can appreciate the flavour of the Amazon.
Its exotic taste
and revitalising properties are becoming
more and more popular
worldwide.
Uses
The pulp can be used in the preparation of
juice, ice cream,
wine, liqueur or sweets. the seeds can substitute
those of cacao
in making chocolate.
