Guava


Guava is an American fruit plant from the Pre-colombian period. In the Amazon it is one of the most familiar fruits and can be found almost anywhere, due to birds and animals which disperse the seeds. It is a hard plant and can be cultivated in subtropical regions too.

Uses
The pulp can be used in the preparation of juice, ice cream, wine, liqueur or sweets.
