This fruit is very pppular in the North and
Northeast of Brazil, especially in Pará State
which is a large producer and exporter. It
contains a lot of vitamins, mineral salts
and fibres in the juice. Also, it can be
used as a natural sedative. The plant of
passion fruit is used as an ornament for
the beautiful flower.
Uses
The pulp can be used in the preparation of
juice, ice cream, wine, liqueur or sweets.
Oil can be extracted from its seeds, applied
for industrial uses.
